Roses

The Roses series emerged from close observation of the roses flourishing in my yard, where their varied colors, shapes, and volumes inspired this study. Through both replication and inventive creation, I strive to capture their delicate and simple qualities. By using a limited palette, I focus on the essence and emotional resonance of each rose, highlighting their symbolic meanings. In my paintings, the entirety of the surface is devoted to the rose itself, eliminating empty space and inviting viewers to immerse themselves fully in its presence. The rose stands not only as a visual centerpiece, but as a symbol of diversity and significance within the natural world.
